πΌ Blooms
- The “flower” is actually a white spathe (a modified leaf) that surrounds a spadix (the true flower).
- Peace lilies may bloom year-round in good light, especially in spring/summer.
- To encourage blooming: make sure it’s getting bright indirect light and not over-fertilized.
πΏ Fertilizer
- Feed monthly during spring/summer using a balanced liquid fertilizer at half-strength.
- Too much fertilizer = no blooms or brown tips.
π§Ό Common Issues
